White Chikankari

White-on-white is the original, classic form of chikankari — the style the craft is traditionally best known for, worked in white thread on white or off-white mulmul and cotton. It's a versatile choice that suits everyday wear, office wear and festive occasions alike, and photographs beautifully thanks to the way shadow-work stitches like bakhiya catch the light.
